I've been a nanny for two families (baby through toddler, 7-12) whose circumstances changed but we're still close. I studied hard how to parent when my kids were young and learned the concept of natural consequences. When I asked my son at 22 why he continued to make good choices, he said, "I respected you Mom, and you respected me." I don't spank, I don't yell, I don't scold, I don't shame, but I seem to have a magic way to earn that respect and elicit good behavior. I'm silly, funny, and love to laugh. Snuggles are important, and I have many wonderful memories of reading together. I'm drive your car with your car seats, I'll run errands, prep or start a meal, do laundry, pick up.

We absolutely love Denise! She has watched our two- and four-year old several times now. Our very shy 4-year old opened up to her almost immediately. Both kids now get so excited to hear that she is coming over. Denise is warm, capable, and knowledgeable. We trust her immensely.
