About Diana

I have worked with seniors most recently for a year, as part of a internship in Buffalo, New York, at a nursing home. I have done one on one visits with residents, played games with them to keep them active, helped each resident out with exercises daily and also helped get them move around and make them feel loved. Prior to this, I have worked with other seniors by visiting them at home. I helped them shower, did their laundry, kept them company. I would remind them about there medications and also made meals for them. Working with seniors is what I have always loved to do and what I wanted to pursue with my career at college. I feel that they should always receive the best care and attention from someone who loves to take care of seniors. I have good patience and have worked with seniors who have Alzheimer's and severe Dementia. I am able to understand all of the different moods they go through as they are aging.
