My specialty is newborn/toddler care. 95% of my jobs have been with 1st time parents. It's a very special privilege to be an important part of a child's life. Mutual respect for oneself, siblings, and parents is very important, along with just enough love to hold it all together. One of my previous babies was born, needing open heart surgery. During my time with this family, he required additional surgeries. I am fully vaccinated and have first aid training. I've also been through child development classes and a graduate of Indiana University in early childhood education. Long-term full-time positions are my preference. I'm willing to negotiate the configuration of hours that would accommodate the family's schedule. Finding the right fit, working together, and the communication between the parents and the nanny are extremely important to me. When that all comes together, it's an awesome and absolutely wonderful experience for the parents, the child, and the nanny.

Flexible with us in the hours we needed for her to work, and that made the transition going back to work much easier. Very involved with our son with activities, engaging in conversation, and making sure he was well taken care of. Made sure my husband and I were updated throughout the day with pictures and everything our son was doing. Loved our dogs which meant a lot. Made a craft for a keepsake for our son which we loved. Thankful for her and the part she played in helping our son grow.
