I have been a Registered Nurse for 34 years with Hospice experience the last 19. 5 years. I have enjoyed caring for the elderly and hearing their stories. Many just want someone to listen to them and truly care. As a hospice nurse I have heard many stories that are joy-filled and/or heartbreaking. Sometimes an encouraging word lifts their spirits and sometimes just listening with intentionality is all they need. I have been a Christian for almost 29 years and believe that compassionate care and respect is what each individual needs and deserves. Comfort, safety and dignity are my priorities when caring for those in need.
