As for babysitting style, I enjoy speaking to children on their level, doing fun activities, and challenging their intellect (to a point, of course, I never want the child to feel dumb). If we get into some troublesome moments, I usually like to take the child aside and let them explain why they feel this way, if it's not working I wait it out.
