I am kind, empathic guy. I have an Associate's in Science degree; CNA certified; good driving record. In my previous positions, I have cared for patients with dementia. I prepared and provided meals, dispensed or provided reminders for medication/vitamins. I have done both morning and evening routines. These were to prepare loved ones for the day by shaving, showering, helping with dressing, making breakfast; assisting with walking and helping with eating as was needed as disease progressed. At night, I helped by changing person into evening clothing, prior to sleep. I also supervised person during their sleep, as I had a room down the hall, and could be called or heard if person needed assistance. cooking and grocery pick up.. Most importantly, I assured that the person was always cognitively and physically occupied.
