About Elaina

Hi, I'm Elaina and I am a 23-year-old with 10+ years of childcare experience! I'm enthusiastic, flexible, creative, and super excited to meet your family! :) I've worked with children in every age group in an abundance of settings, but my most recent position has been in a daycare facility caring for infants ages 8-18 months. While I have primarily been working with babies for the last year, I have spent quite a bit of time working with school age children at different Children's Museum locations across Illinois. I'm trained in first aid and CPR, l have my own vehicle. I've been working at the daycare facility for almost a year now and I love it but I feel I can't get to know them as well as if I were to work one-on-one with a family. I'm a big proponent of gentle methods of behavior management, I'm very passionate about instilling self confidence through choices in communication. Please feel free to ask me any questions!
