About Valerie

My name is Valerie and I have a degree in education. I have worked with children from two months all the way up to 14 years old. I know how to prepare bottles and simple meals, change diapers, soothe, feed, bathe and put down children of all ages for naps and bed. I am very creative with play time and all of the kids I have watched, that could tell me, have expressed that they enjoy having me there. I try to take the children outside either to a park, a library, or even just the backyard. Reading has always been important to me, so even if you have a young child I will try to read with them. I am great at coming up with fun games and activities to play but I can also take charge when needed. Safety is my first priority with any kids I watch; I look out for them as if they were my own family. I also can deal with anything that may go wrong. I also have a personal policy about always leaving a house just as clean or cleaner that I found it. If you need anything specific just ask.
