About Elise

I am 18 years old and I grew up with 11 siblings who I have taken care of. I have 5 to 6 years of experience in childcare. As a caregiver, I blend patience and creativity, ensuring each child feels supported and encouraged to explore their imagination. I believe open communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents about their child's day and any issues that arise. I follow the parents' preferred communication method and respect their guidelines when enforcing household rules. My favorite games to play with children are those that get us moving, like outdoor sports and physical games. I'm comfortable caring for up to five children, aged between 0 and 11. While English is the only language I speak, I'm happy to learn basic phrases in other languages to make children and their families feel more comfortable. I am looking for a job for the summer, since I will be going to college this fall. I am leaving for college on August 18, 2024.
