I have cared for children since I was young, but had done it professionally when I went to college. Professionally, I took care of 4 children in one home (ages 3 - 12) for two years and then 2 children in another (ages 3 and 5) for another year. I enjoy caring for children in part because I have a soft spot for children and elderly (I cared for my grandpa with Alzheimer's before he passed) but I also have a very even temper. I think this is the key to why I am good at my job and why I am well trusted by my employers, friends, and family. I have not taken care of children with special needs. Just so you know (as I know my profile says I live in Frankfort), I work in Chicago and can travel directly after work to care for your children every day of the week.
