Hello, I've worked with children since I was a teenager, for over 30 years. I was also a nanny for a little over a year before I had my daughter in August of 2019. I had stayed home with my daughter and was watching a boy her age for a little over 3 years. My daughter is now in kindergarten. My husband can pick her up from school, except on Wednesdays and I would only be able to work until 12:30 p.m. on those days. I'm open to either watching your child from my home or yours. I would help your child learn by reading, singing, flashcards and artwork, if they are old enough. I would nurture their curiosity and help develop motor skills in a structured environment. Beth has been the most wonderful caregiver to our son for the last three years (son aged 1.5-4.5 yrs old during this time). She has provided care in her home multiple full days per week and our son was supported with appropriate child development activities from free play and art to structured learning like teaching our son how to write his name. She also was a huge support with potty training. As a first-time mom who was seeking safe and secure infant care outside our own home, Beth was the ideal find, and she along with her husband and daughter have become extended family to us over the years. Totally trustworthy, kind, curious and respectful of our parenting philosophies, Beth is a gem of a caregiver and receives my strongest recommendation.
