My name is Elizabeth. I 10 tears of experience as a certified NYS special education teacher (professional certificate) working in the classroom setting Kindergarten-6th grade (ICT, 12:1, SETSS). This experience includes teaching children on the autism spectrum disorder, children with learning disorders, speech and processing disorders, as well as ADD/ADHD. I truly enjoy teaching kids strategies to understand reading, writing, and math. I current work full time in a school in the Bronx and I provide SETSS services to students with IEPs in a private school. During the summer, I am available and looking forward to working with students who to help them prepare for the new school year!

Elizabeth is working with my 10yo daughter on improving her grades, specially on math. She figured what was the issue and started from the basics with her. Her math test was 32% and the test after Elizabeth worked with her for couple sections went to 72%. Now we are preparing for the state test and I'm very confident that my daughter grade will be even better. I can see she is not as anxious about the test anymore as she finally started to understand the steps to get the right results. Elizabeth is reliable and easy to work with and I definitely recommend her for tutoring.
