About Elizabeth

I have been a caregiver for a long time. Whether it was for my 8 kids (I know!), my grandkids, or relatives battling illness, caring for others has always come naturally to me. I have a professional background in law enforcement and in working with teens as a gymnastics coach, so you know I can be stern but also patient! But it was after both of my parents were ill and then passed-- and then my in-laws, that I realized there is a serious lack of quality care out there for our elderly loved ones. My passion is in treating your loved ones with dignity and grace. I have extensive experience with end of life care, I'm comfortable accompanying them to doctors visits and I've had multiple clients with varying levels of Dementia. I also just enjoy getting to know them, allowing them to feel seen and heard, reminding them that they matter. I go out of my way to ensure that they do not feel as though they are a burden, on the contrary-- they give me a great sense of purpose!
