About Ellen

I have always been a care giver since HS. My first real job was a nurses aide in a long term care facility on a skilled floor. I then went to school and got my LPN and continued with further education. I worked at a hospital for 5 yrs on a med surg floor and then worked agency, where I experienced many areas of nursing. I stopped working and was fortunate to raise 4 children. I coached girls softball and field hockey in my township for close to 10 years. I also helped care for my sister with a brain tumor until her passing 15 yrs ago. I currently help care for my mother in law and parents with medical and other needs. I have volunteered at the humane society in Fort Myers and also with Road to recovery with American Cancer society, taking CA patients to and from appointments. I am very helpful and knowledgeable navigating medical portals and tele med visits. I understand the challenges of needing help for a loved one and finding the right someone.
