About Ellie

Hello! My name is Ellie, and I am a recent graduate from Cal Poly SLO, where I earned a degree in Sociology with minors in Psychology, Ethnic Studies, and Women and Gender Studies. As a swim coach and lessons instructor for five years, I not only taught children how to swim but also instilled in them the importance of teamwork and perseverance. My role as a sleep-away summer camp counselor for two years allowed me to foster meaningful connections with children, providing a safe and fun environment for them to learn and grow. I am dedicated to creating a positive atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged. Whether it's helping with homework, engaging in creative play, or simply being a comforting presence, I am here to assist in any way I can.
