Hello! My name is Elliot! I am a very artistic and joyful person who loves to work with kids. I am an artist and am very passionate about teaching kids how to do art. Experience: I worked two years seasonally as a substitute teacher for an Elementary school district. I was able to get out of my comfort zone of only sitting two or three children to 20+ kids at once, because of this I am capable of handling unexpected matters calmly and effectively. This past year I worked with a newborn (4-12 months), I really love working with them. It is so rewarding to see them grow and learn as you sit with them. I also have worked with a newborn (now 5 months old) and his sister who is 3, it definitely has been challenging learning how to play with a 3-year-old while simultaneously caring for a crying baby but after persevering and listening to the needs of each child we have managed to find out what works.

Elliot has been caring for my son a few afternoons a week for two weeks now and it's been a wonderful experience so far. He is always on time or early and my 11-month-old has a blast with him. Elliot gets down on the floor with him to read, sing, and play; he keeps him very engaged. I am working from home, so I've been able to witness Elliot's interactions with my child first-hand much of the time. He also takes my son on walks and to the park, which is much appreciated. I have already recommended him to a neighbor and would recommend him to anyone looking for a very active, hands-on babysitter.
