About Elsie

I am a 21-year-old senior at the University of Northern Colorado. I am majoring in human services with a minor in Early childhood education. I worked at ABC child development center for a year. Here I was responsible for promoting student safety and learning. I cultivated positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Here I worked with kids ages birth-12 years old I have also worked as a camp counselor at a summer camp in western Colorado for the past three summers. As a counselor, I organized games and activities for 20-25 kids per week. Here I worked with kids ages 7-14. As a part of being a camp counselor, I am first-aid certificate and a very outgoing person. I am also bilingual making it easier to communicate with various people. I have taken multiple caregiving classes throughout my college experience, so I have a background in positively guiding children.
