About Emerald

I like tutoring because growing up academic success was very difficult for me to achieve. From elementary school all the way to high school, I had a hard time in the classroom. I was easily distracted, and often fell behind. It was not until I got into college that I realize the importance of tutoring and having extra support, it really help me thrive. This is one of my main motivations for tutoring other students, I want to see students achieve, academic success! I'm looking for a job that allows me the flexibility to reach each student individually. Many students are diverse learners and need a unique learning style that is specific just for them. I started tutoring when when I was in college as community service. I would go to local elementary schools and work with the students on reading math and even mentoring them on life.
