About Emery

Hi! I am 23 years old & a 2023 graduate from Saint Joseph's University with a Bachelors of Science in Clinical Psychology and Autism Behavioral Studies. I am the the youngest child, but oldest of a million stuffed animals. My passion for working with kids started with 8-year-old me's playroom school of American Girl dolls, and has since grown into various jobs in various settings, including a real school. I've come a long way! I have been caring for children since I was 13. My younger years started as a mother's helper & babysitter. In high school, I started to learn the ropes of being a nanny with an 8 & 10-year-old. Together, we learned, played, explored, and grew. In college, I nannied for a few different families. More learning, more fun, more growing. Last year, I was a long-term substitute in a classroom filled with the smartest, kindest, creative 8-year-olds. My summers since the age of 15 have been filled with leading recreation, camp counseling, coaching competitive sailing.
