About Emily

I enjoy working with kids because their curiosity, creativity, and endless energy is inspiring! I love helping kids to learn and explore, whether that's in their backyard or while reading a book. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old, babysitting my 6-year-old sister and twin year-old cousins. Since then, I've babysat regularly throughout high school and college. Most recently, I balanced several part-time nannying positions for families with 6mo-6-year-olds. In my spare time, I like to hike, run, bake, and spend time with my loved ones. I also love gardening, going on bike rides, and practicing yoga! I am a first-year graduate student at Naropa University studying Nature-Based Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My skills include patience, safety, and play. Having extensive experience babysitting, I recognize safety is most important to ensure the happiest playtime!
