About Emily

I'd describe my personality as kind, organized and creative. I like working with kids because it is very life-giving to me to create a safe, nurturing environment that allows little ones to thrive in their individual development. I started working with kids all through high school, and did formal nannying positions during college. After graduating I worked in Montessori schools as a lead Infant and Toddler teacher for the past 4 years. One thing you should know about me is that I have formal Montessori training for ages 0-3. My professional experience the past 4 years has been in Montessori classrooms. I am looking for a spring/summer position to work since I am pregnant! I am due in the fall (late September), but want to continue to use my skills while I wait for baby to come in an environment that is not as demanding as a school setting. I am active and healthy in my pregnancy and do not foresee limitations to offering the full scope of care required for early childhood.
