About Emily

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, creative, patient. I like working with kids because I enjoy the experience of watching children grow and learn, and I enjoy helping them do so in a caring and fun environment. I started working with kids when I was around 12 years old, helping parents in my neighborhood with watching their children on evenings when they were away from home. In my spare time, I like to read, write, practice instruments, explore different neighborhoods, and practice amateur photography. One thing you should know about me is I am unfortunately allergic to cats and some dogs (hypoallergenic dogs are generally okay). My skills include finding creative games and activities, being a good listener, and conflict resolution.
