Hi! I am Emily, a current Purdue student studying Economics and Political Science, with a minor in Italian. I have been working with children in some capacity since I was 10 years old. I began my childcare experiences by babysitting for various friends and family, then later worked as a swim lessons teacher where I taught children aged 3 months to 13 years old. This will be my fourth year as a certified lifeguard, so I am CPR certified and am comfortable recognizing the need for and performing the Heimlich maneuver, among any other sort of first aid or medical emergency - and I regularly practice these skills! I come from a very large family with lots of children so I am comfortable with and welcome caring for all ages of children!
