I love to share knowledge and see my students have their "lightbulb" moment - to thoroughly understand a challenging subject and solve a problem on their own for the first time. I take pride in seeing my students grow and succeed. I started tutoring while attending university. I was a teaching assistant for 3 undergraduate business courses. After university, I briefly tutored high school students in algebra, geometry, and PSAT/SAT prep. I have experience creating lesson plans with emphasis on developing Mandarin language comprehension. I hope to work with students that are passionate about learning and have a growth mindset, so that I can help them overcome challenges and reach their potential.
