About Emily

I'd describe my personality as hands-on, optimistic and nurturing. I like working with kids because they have vivid imaginations, and bring a positive and playful environment. I'm looking for a job that brings a positive work environment, and opportunities for new growth. I started working with kids when I was 17. I worked for an extended day program through Lee county school system. I focused working with pre-k students but still helped with kindergarten through second grade. I would also help a family friend with their first newborn. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family/friends, go to church, paint and listen to my favorite podcasts. One thing you should know about me is I know how important it is to be patient and reliable when working with kids. My skills include communication, patience and adaptability.
