About Emily

I am entering my third year as an undergraduate at the University. I am an Art Education major with a specialization in Ceramics. I am here to support and assist in any way you need me! Since coming to college and getting more involved in my major, I have discovered an interest in educating myself on all aspects of early childhood development. One thing you should know about me is when caring for a child I try to get children to be as active as possible while still staying in their comfort zone. That includes going on a walk or a hike, going to the pool, art activities, etc. My childhood care skills include being compassionate and patient. Children tend to have a harder time expressing their feelings, so approaching them with compassion and empathy is one of the most beneficial ways to be understanding.
