About Emily

I'd describe my personality as energetic, creative, loving I like working with kids because it brings me joy to see children finishing themselves through their development. As I study to become a pediatric OT, I have only gained more love working with children seeing how through the help of the right person, a child can grow to do many amazing things. I started working with kids when I was between middle and high school, I started volunteering at a local daycare center where I went myself when I was younger and from there and from some occasional babysitting I did for the children in my neighborhood, I decided to apply for the Chicago Park District as a summer recreational leader. One thing you should know about me is the safety and care for a child is of most importance to me when it comes to caring for the children of others. I understand the responsibility and I believe that my experience allows me to be prepared for various situations in the case that an emergency arises.
