About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I have over a decade's experience working with parents and families as a nanny, and references to prove it. I graduated from Occidental with a BA in psychology and work in television. I love to write, read, travel and I adore taking care of children - to me it's not just an income supplement, but an enriching and rewarding experience all on its own. I've been working with kids since age 13. Since graduating college, nannying has been my full time job while I am in between shows. Most of my experience has been caring for kids under the age of 5, but I have experience with all ages. I love cooking for the kids, reading the same book 5x in a row, and taking them out on adventures to the backyard or the park if it's nice out. Presence, safety, reliability and proactive, transparent communication are the most important parts of this job to me, and I work hard to make sure my clients feel that they have put their kids in safe hands.
