About Emily

I'd describe my personality as organized, creative, and kind. I like working with kids because I had awesome opportunities when I was growing up with a nanny or babysitter to play games, spend time outside. I'm happy that I can now step into that role. I'm looking for a job that allows me the flexibility to work alongside my full-time job, while still building meaningful connections. I started working with kids when I was 13 by working as a babysitter, and later as a full-time nanny. In my spare time, I like to swim, run, draw, and read. I was a competitive swimmer my whole life and have been into running the last year and a half. I love both sports and being active, as well as spending time outside. One thing you should know about me is I like to make sure the kids I'm around are having fun and take care to come up with activities or ideas as things to do, but I also respect the things that need to get done (put away our toys, clean up after ourselves, homework before TV).
