About Emily

I am a longtime private music teacher and nanny with 10+ years of experience as a childcare provider, and I'm passionate about supporting families and helping children thrive. I'm patient, calm, creative, and imaginative, and I love to see children gain confidence as they learn and explore new things. I believe in a holistic approach to childcare, focusing on each child's physical, emotional, and intellectual development. I like to play outdoor sports and physical games, as well as educational games and creative activities that help children express their imaginative side. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children ages newborn to 11 (alongside my own infant son) and I'm happy to help with cooking and meal preparation. I follow the parents' lead in terms of enforcing household rules and will provide updates in whatever method parents prefer. I have reliable transportation and am open to planning day trips to the library or park. I look forward to helping your family flourish!
