About Emily

I love working with kids! I have decades of experience working with children & teens of all ages. I began babysitting at 12 yrs old & in college was a nanny & daycare worker. Upon graduating, I began teaching high school English, tutoring, & mentoring. After having my twins, I became a SAHM so I could be as present & hands on for their childhood as possible. Now mom to 4 kids ages 7-2, I currently only have 1 kiddo at home. I am looking to watch an additional 1-2 kids. I'm kind, energetic, & fun. I know a lot about development & believe that connection, modeling, respect & empathy are key to building relationships, growing & learning. With my varied skills & experience, I have a well-developed tool/activity bag to ensure fun & learning happens. I plan activities daily that are at each individual's level, while promoting play, outdoor time, and social emotional learning. Flexibility with hours/days.
