About Emily

I'd describe my personality as patient, caring and empathetic. I started working with kids when I was still a kid myself. Ever since I was in grade school I have always been given the role to look after the other children when the adults wanted their own time. I have 4-year-old niece that I've been helping take care of a few days a week since she was born. Up until she was about 2, she lived in the same home as me and I would clean, feed, entertain and try to teach her as much as I could while my brother was working or when he would go out. I also babysit friends and family's kiddos whenever they need it. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog and take him to parks. I love nature, music, art, reading, crafts and picking up new skills. I recently got into crochet and have been working on a blanket. One thing you should know about me is I am a certified nurse assistant and know basic life support, first aid and CPR. My skills include patience, creativity and compassion.
