About Emma K

With over 4 years of experience as both an art teacher and a long-term substitute teacher across K-12 grades, I bring excitement and a passion for creativity to every role. I have experience nannying ages 2-13. I have a BFA and MA in Art Education. I have decided to take a break from teaching in order to work with and support children in a way that leads to personally getting to know them and who they are as a whole. I am able and happy to help with homework. In addition to my teaching and nannying experience, I spent 3 years as a summer camp counselor and art director, where I honed my skills in activity planning and creating a fun, safe environment for children. I enjoy planning engaging activities tailored to children's interests and abilities. I am proficient in light housekeeping duties. My personal interests include many forms of art making, reading, video games, seeing museums, and camping. I have a car. I look forward to bringing my skills and enthusiasm to your family!
