About Emmaline

Hi, my name is Emmaline! I'm an Elementary Education major at Kennesaw State University. I have a passion for taking care of children. I am currently part-time student teaching in a 5th-grade classroom. I have a reliable car and have never been in a major accident. I also love animals and own two cats! I have 4 years of professional experience and also have two younger siblings I spent many years babysitting and caring for. However, in recent years I interned at The Montessori School of Rome. One half of the interning was with preschool (ages 0 to 3), and the second half was primary (ages 3 to 6). I've taught lessons, read to children, changed diapers, and helped with cleanup, and had playtime. Then in 2020 before schools shut down I was hired as a Cobb County substitute and worked at elementary schools while attending night classes. Most recently, I have worked for two families in Woodstock with ages 1-5 years old. Helping to teach the kids to read, write, and talk.
