14 years of nannying experience . I have been caring for children since I was able to play with toddlers as a mother's helper as a young kid. As I grew, my responsibilities grew and soon I begin babysitting for family friends and eventually for other families. As an 8th grader, I trained with my guidance counselor to be a tutor for 4th graders, some with special needs (ADD, ADHD, and Autism) and continued to work as a tutor for these kids until my graduation from school. I also worked as a student aide, helping kids with special needs take tests. As an adult, I've worked with multiple children at once both in a home and daycare setting. I've had children with ADD, ADHD, ODD, and other diagnoses. I prefer a child-led approach, but do not strictly follow any one philosophy. I absolutely love working with kids as I find it extremely rewarding. In my spare time, I like to be outside, exploring the world around me, usually with my dogs, husband, and daughters.
