I like caring for seniors because it gives me a sense of purpose. Seniors are so often overlooked in the community, and they deserve better. I started caring for seniors when I was about 14 years old. My mom had me volunteer in a nursing home in order to gain volunteer hours in high school. They ended up having me provide companionship to the residents in the dementia unit. That is when I fell in love with the senior population and knew that I wanted to have a career in working with them. In my spare time, I like to cheer on UT sports (basketball and football), and I'm learning how to bowl! One thing you should know about me is I have so much passion to work with the elderly. My skills include patience, loyalty, and passion.
