About Erika

Hello! My name is Erika, and childcare is my passion. I've been engaging children with fun, educational activities since the 6th grade and am currently finishing my final semester in the Graduate Nursing Program. I'm looking forward to continuing my care journey as a professional nurse post-graduation in December. I have extensive experience with all age groups, especially infants and toddlers. Before moving to Chicago, I managed a church nursery, worked as a nanny for a family of four, and cared for two children with special medical needs. I hold a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the University of Illinois, with additional training in child development, CPR, and First Aid. With certifications as a CNA and EMT, and my experience as an ER tech and NICU CNA, I am well-prepared to handle emergencies and create a safe environment for your children. I'm eager to provide high-quality, nurturing care that incorporates my nursing skills!
