About Esperanza

I have been babysitting since I was 15. I'm the oldest of my family so I helped my parents watch my sisters and brother. I was also hired as a nanny for about 3 years; this job included traveling. It was a great experience; the kids range from one month to 16 years old. The company closed so they let me go but that wasn't that bad since I became interested in school and I became an after school sitter and that led to me becoming the coordinator for 4 elementary schools. Now I sub when not babysitting, with my mom as my helper. Right now I have a newborn and 2 6-year-old kids which I take to school and also pick them up and they get homework help and tutoring if they don't understand something. We do offer snack and lunch I know how it is since I have 4 kids of my own sometimes we parents don't have the time to prepare. I help by having home cooked food. At school I have over 100 students I watch over and 3 staff to help me. We haven't had any problems with any student and parents actually want me to watch their kids. I also help with homework and play outside with them and yes we go for walks.
