About Eva-marie

I'd describe my personality as sensitive, caring, and dependable. I like tutoring because it is an extension of the work I do in my career of teaching. I especially like that I can help students one on one and come up with ways to deepen understanding of content based on that student's interests and needs. I'm looking for a job that allows me to flexibly work throughout the summer and school year. I have 2 daughters (3 years old and 3 months old), so my time can be limited depending on the week/month. I do however have an extremely helpful and supportive village which will allow me to tutor. In my spare time, I like to read, do 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles, and spend time with my family & friends. One thing you should know about me is that I have been teaching for 10 years (grades 4-6) and I've been babysitting since I was 13. My skills include being patient and understanding, being a good communicator, and fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.
