About Evanne

I hold a Lifetime California Credentialed Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I create individualized curricula for each of my students according to their needs. I offer a free evaluation with to assess the needs and goals of each student. I specialize in Language Arts, which includes reading at all levels including Beginning Readers and Special Needs. My classes feature phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, narrative, creative, research and personal essay writing techniques and formatting. I am a published author and I love to teach children how to write their own books! I have helped students edit their books and have instructed them in what is involved in publishing their books. It is a very special moment for me and my students when they make the understand that they can blend sounds to read words and to write their own stories. I also work with older students and adults in college prep, ELL/ESL and resume/career goals.
