About Flora

I have experience working with the elderly for more than 20 now. Working as a nurse assistant to me is very rewarding because it's an opportunity to help others. I put a lot of passion in my work, and I treat any senior assigned to my care, the same way I would want someone else to take care of my own family members. I do my work not as a job but as an opportunity to help another. When I leave work each day, my hope is not only to have done everything assigned to me but that the client feels that it was done with compassion. Some of the duties I have done as an assistant are: assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, dressing, transferring, among others, while allowing the patient to do as much as possible for themselves to promote independence, ensuring that patient's surrounding is clean, organized and appealing.
