About Franny

Hi! My name is Franny and I am currently a senior at Bowdoin College. For most of my life, I have worked with kids in one way or another--as a babysitter, camp counselor, mentor, tutor, and older sister. As a counselor, I learned how to create fun with kids, while keeping to our daily schedule, and never forgetting to bring a snack or jacket on the road. As a writing tutor, I have helped kids write their own stories and poems, and I have written plays along with kids-I strongly believe in empowering children creatively, as well as empowering them to clean up after themselves! And, as a babysitter, I have experience in efficient and transparent communication, cooking with and for kids, and all the many things that come up when caretaking for children. I am a great communicator with parents, as well as both a patient, attentive sitter, and friendly sidekick to your child's imagination. I would love to work with you to ensure that your kid(s) have a fun, safe, and enriching summer!
