I have volunteered to with tutor kids for 2 years and I'm happy to help them learn! My experience has given me a good understanding of how each kids learns differently and what I can do to keep them engaged. Patience is something that comes easily to me, seeing as I've grown up with many kids in my own life. I'm well aware that every kid has their own strengths and weaknesses which is something I like to focus on while teaching them. I find honing in on weaknesses keep them motivated enough to keep going, and strengths stop them from feeling the need to quit!
