About Genevieve

Hello! I'm a patient, creative, and attentive person who loves to work with children as well as students of all ages. I'm looking to babysit and/or tutor. When babysitting, I make sure children have fun and feel cared for--I engage directly with kids, often joining in games and playing creatively with them. I also will be an authority figure when needed, encouraging children to remain respectful of others and adhere to household rules. I recently received a degree in Comparative Literature from UC Davis, and I'm passionate about writing, art, and music. I have training and experience in writing tutoring through UC Davis and have worked as a writing tutor to my peers for over a year. I love discovering each individual's learning style in order to help them gain the skills and mental attitude to improve. Whether working with children or older students, I focus on creating a positive environment involving open communication and growth.
