Hi there! My name is Genna - I'm 25 years old and I'm a freelance worker in the music industry. Since it's the off season for music festivals, I'm looking for part-time work as a babysitter! I've lived in Cleveland Park in East Nashville for the last three years and I love this neighborhood and community. My interests include music & concerts, film photography, skiing, hiking, cooking, and baking. I'm responsible, friendly, outgoing, and great with kids. From being a mother's helper, babysitter, and a bunk counselor at a sleep away camp, I've worked with children of all ages. I've babysat for families with up to three kids, ages 3-8. As a bunk counselor for two summers, I lived with and took care of 10-12 kids at a time, ages 6-8 and 12-14. In addition to watching after kids, I'm comfortable with changing diapers, cooking, and cleaning. My schedule is flexible and I'm available to work during the week and weekends. Genna has been amazing with my 2.5 year old daughter. She is incredibly kind, patient & engaging and is reliable & flexible with scheduling. My daughter always has such a good time and talks about everything they did after Genna leaves. Additionally, Genna is really effective in redirecting when my daughter gets upset or wants to do something that's not safe (i.e. jumping on the couch). I'm so grateful for Genna and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter/nanny.
