Hello! I'm Gibely, I graduated with my ESL teaching degree in May 2022. I speak English and Spanish fluently. I've been working with children and families for 6 years in different roles. As an education major, I see the importance in incorporating learning into different techniques and applying the child's creativity. I love watching kids learn and contributing to their growth. I've nannied for families with children ages infant-6 years old. I've loved all the families l've worked for in the past and enjoyed building relationships with not only the parents but the children as well! Gibely has been our baby girl N.'s nanny for the past six months and she has been absolutely wonderful. N. is not easy but Gibely handles her with love and care and patience that I will be forever grateful for. She has felt like part of our family. We needed to do some early intervention work to help with crawling and standing and despite how much N hated it, Gibely did exactly what we asked and worked with her during the day on these things and she's showing great improvement as a result. She cleaned N.'s room, put away her clothes when I hadn't had the time, washed bottles and straightened up our place. All things I told her she absolutely didn't need to do and she continued to do them anyway. Not only that, but I was a nervous first time mom, and I didn't really know what I was doing. Gibely gave me confidence and tips I needed to help me figure out this new baby and new phase that were the best advice. N. needs to be put in daycare for family reasons but if we could keep Gibely we absolutely would. It's clear that Nora feels safe and happy when she's here, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
