I worked as a lead teacher for ages 2-6 since September 2021. I taught them American sign language, letters, numbers, feelings, gardening skills, writing skills, social skills and much more. I love watching kids learn and grow. I worked with children ages 2-5 three times a week for 6 years at my local church. I am currently working with a family as an independent provider (home health aid) with the state and take care of children who have special needs. I help support them in their different therapies and play with them along with making food and cleaning. I have experience taking care of 4 children ages 2, 4 and 6 along with another adult. I helped in the developmental process of the 2-year-old twins by playing games and communicating in sign language and gestures. I am currently enrolled in college studying social service behavioral health. I have always loved caring for children any age. They truly make me see the world in a more joyful way. Single parent of 3 kids. I hired Grace in August 2022 w/ a contract and asked to commit up to 3 years of care if pos. I paid for her BG check. She was dependable, arrived on time, and asked alot of ques. After 3 mos I felt she had gotten used to the cycle with juggling 3 kids close in age (3 yrs, 18 mos and 7 mos), although in the beginning mos there were a few lose ends. It was a rough winter, my kids were sick and 1-2 weeks 2x this season. My work also requires me to go to conferences. I understand she had another family she was making sure to stay safe regarding symptoms. Grace said the other family hired her and wanted her to start asap. I felt very slighted we couldn't work things out-- I was willing to pay a flat rate fee for days she couldn't nanny, but she insisted the other family wanted her to start right away. However, her availability on care.com aligns with the days she nannied my kids, it states she updated just 2 weeks ago, her last days w/ me were Nov 20. We still are in n
