I personally own a 7-year-old male Australian Shepherd. He is a therapy dog. He is fully obedience trained, used to run agility and at one point was a show dog. My mom owned a dog boarding kennel when I was younger, I would go help do the daily activities which included; cleaning kennels, feeding the dogs, taking them out for exercise, and bathing them before the went home if necessary. My mom also owned a pet store where I worked and did the same activities to ensure the well being of the animals.
