About Hannah

Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm currently a paraprofessional, working with children with autism at a center based school in Portage. I love working with the kids, but I'm looking for something different. I love the bond that you can create when spending so much quality time together, but the school system can be a bit stifling. A bit about me, I'm the youngest of six kids and became an aunt by the time I was 8, so being with children if all ages has always been very normal for me. I've been babysitting since I was at least 12, sometimes taking on 7-12 kids one my own. So I'm cool with whatever you go in your gang:) A bit of my philosophy: adults are meant to love and care for children (body, soul and spirit), while children are to trust and respect the adults that are caring for them. I'm really interested in Montessori and gentle parenting, although I don't have children of my own, so I don't have much practice, but I'd like to learn more.
