Hello prospective parent! I am a certified postpartum doula through DONA International and lactation counselor with 4 years of experience running my own doula business. My primary focus is with newborns and infants under 1 years old with the goal being to stay with a family from the birth of the baby to when they enter preschool. I have a passion for postpartum nutrition and meal prep is part of the services I offer. I typically prepare foods items like overnight oats, egg bites and various plant focused dinners while the baby sleeps. I have also worked as a household manager and can take the lead on scheduling plumbers, cleaners, lawn care etc. without much oversight. Doula means 'mothering the mother' and while I absolutely adore children, ultimately its women who have my heart. I believe that working as a nanny is part of building a village and offering very important support that is not really baked into our society as it should be.

I have known Hannah since 2010 when she was a student of mine. She immediately distinguished herself as a student and person of the highest caliber. She is detail-oriented, friendly, curious about the world, committed to her projects, and genuine in her interactions with fellow students and faculty. After Hannah graduated, I asked her to babysit my son on several occasions -- something I do only when I have the utmost trust and confidence in a former student. As a babysitter, Hannah is professional, fun, warm, and responsible. She knows how to keep the kids entertained and happy through outdoor play, crafts, games but also keeps them on track for eating, sleeping and homework (if needed). She is great with young children and babies as well as older kids. Great sitter!
